Final Partners Meeting in TAP project

The final partners’ meeting in Zoetermeer (the Netherlands) was organized by Leido Academy on July 7-8, 2016. The main topics in the agenda was an overview of work within Output 3 “Methodology of workshops for people at risk of poverty and social exclusion„ and Output 4 “Methodology of workshops for decision makers and politicians“, as well as the overview of the whole project.

How to make ends meet, the poorest in Europe

In the "TAP-Together Against Poverty" project, which is implemented in international partnership and financed by the European Commission (under Erasmus+ Program) cyclical analysis of the phenomenon of poverty and social exclusion is being constantly conducted. The data available in this field often comes from social research. One of those examples is Eurofound portal, where the data collected by the European Union's Agenda are published (www.eurofound.europa.eu).

Publications within the project - looking from different perspectives at the system functioning in the field of poverty and social exclusion

Poverty and social exclusion are very complex phenomena, which is caused not only by their roots, but also because of different course they take and a number of possible solutions, that cannot always be implemented. These problems vary depending on a country they occur. The monographs prepared in the project, look at the problems of poverty and social exclusion from different viewpoints: from the perspective of a person being at risk of poverty as well as from the welfare institutions point of view.
